PROF. DR. İLYAS TOPSAKAL CONDUCTED A CONFERENCE ENTITLED "BALKAN TURKS AND THE TURKISH WORLD" AT THE INTERNATIONAL VISION UNIVERSITY

On March 3, 2024 (Wednesday) at 13:00, at the Ceremony Hall of the International Vision University, Prof. Dr. İlyas TOPSAKAL, the MHP Member of Parliament for Samsun, organized a conference titled "Balkan Turks and the Turkish World".

The moderation and opening of the conference were done by the Rector of the International Vision University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi CAN. Prof. Dr. İlyas TOPSAKAL delivered an impressive conference discussing the rich texture of Turkish culture and history. Focusing on the importance of Balkan Turks and the Turkish World, Topsakal provided participants with in-depth insight.

The conference began by highlighting the Balkan region's rich history and cultural diversity. Topsakal extensively discussed the lasting legacy of the Ottoman Empire in the region and the traces of Turkish culture in the Balkans.

Emphasizing that Balkan Turks are significant carriers of Turkish culture and language in the Balkans, Topsakal noted the strong ties of these communities with the Turkish world. At the end of the program, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi CAN, the Rector of IVU, presented a plaque to Prof. Dr. İlyas TOPSAKAL.
