"6TH GRADUATION CEREMONY AT VISION


On the occasion of the Turkish Language Education Day in North Macedonia on December 21, International Vision University celebrated its 6th Graduation Ceremony, coinciding with the university's 9th anniversary. The event took place at the Gostivar Cultural House with the participation of a large audience.

Among the attendees were the Rector of International Vision University, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can; Deputy Secretary-General of TÜRKSOY, Sayit Yusuf; Member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, Fatmir Skender; Leader and Member of Parliament of the Turkish Democratic Party, Dr. Beycan İlyas; Undersecretary of the Prime Ministry of North Macedonia, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhittin Kahveci; State Advisor for Education Policies at the Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia, Gönül Bayraktar; Director of the Bureau for Development of Education, Abdülfeta Fetai; Members of Parliament of North Macedonia, Prof. Dr. Halil Snopçe and Dragoljub Filipovski; President of the Advisory Council of the Republic of Kosovo, Dr. Atakan Koro; Director of the Yunus Emre Institute in Skopje, Serhat Kula; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia, Dr. Yusuf Hasan; Founding Rector of International Vision University, Prof. Dr. Fadıl Hoca; vice rectors; members of the Board of Trustees of International Vision University; Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the University of Tetovo Gotse Delcev, Prof. Dr. Mahmut Çelik; Former State Minister Hadi Nezir; deans; university professors; representatives of political parties; representatives of non-governmental organizations; teachers, and students.

Following the performance of the national anthems of North Macedonia and Turkey, a presentation on the "Struggle for the Existence of Turkish in Macedonia" was shared through a multimedia presentation, highlighting the activities and achievements of International Vision University since its establishment.

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Vecdi Can expressed the joy of celebrating the 9th anniversary of the university and congratulated the sixth generation of graduates. He emphasized the pride of being the first and only university teaching in Turkish in Gostivar, North Macedonia, and throughout Europe, not just within Macedonia or Turkey.

Deputy Secretary-General of TÜRKSOY, Sayit Yusuf, greeted the guests and congratulated everyone who contributed to the university's achievements.

Dr. Beycan İlyas, Leader of the Turkish Democratic Party and Member of Parliament, extended his respects to all teachers who have been striving for the continuation of Turkish education under even the most challenging conditions since 1944.

Following welcoming and congratulatory speeches by Dr. Atakan Koro, President of the Advisory Council of the Republic of Kosovo; Fatmir Skender, Member of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia; and Serhat Kula, Director of the Yunus Emre Institute in Skopje, plaques were presented to institutions and individuals who have contributed to the university.

At the end of the program, plaques were awarded to top-performing students at the doctoral, master's, and undergraduate levels, and diplomas were presented to graduating students."
